• Proof collective start laying off due to harsh market conditions

• Moonbirds have recently been on a down spiral before this recent news

Recent layoffs at Proof are a positive sign, indicating the company's effort to preserve capital and sustain operations. Companies, both inside and outside the crypto world, have had to make similar tough choices due to market conditions. They question the perception of some that "Proof is not a business," arguing that it certainly is, even if its profitability and business model are unclear. While not a fan of Kevin Rose's leadership in WEB3 but the layoffs were a necessary move. Many opinions on the platform may be uninformed or misguided.

• ChatGPT can now browse the internet for current information and provides direct links to sources.

• Browsing aids in tasks needing recent data, like technical research or vacation planning.

• Browsing is currently available for Plus and Enterprise users, with plans to expand to all users.

Data Feed:

This feature is incredible I pulled up Recur which was a web 3 project that unfortunately went out of business August 18th, 2023. Not only did GPT give me information on the company like founder, date of closing, etc. but it even gave warning signals to get your NFTs off of the platform before November 17th. It went deep into user impact and community message and I could always ask for elaboration in finer details.

Gaming News

Data Download:

• X (formerly Twitter) gears up there app for streaming games! Elon Musk streamed Diablo 4 to a test X account before streaming it live to his main account on X.

• The sudden focus to streaming games on X could bode well for web3 games and adds yet another way for gamers to get value from their content.

• Furthermore we could see a entire shift of creators moving to X. Paris Hilton and X just announced she and her company 11:11 Media was partnering with X to create a launchpad for new initiatives in video/live video, live commerce, Spaces, and more.

With a huge amount of web3 games about to launch to market there will be a lot of opportunity for web3 gamers to step into the X spotlight and begin streaming games. The web3 space on X has shrunk down in the bear market but since X has put a focus on streaming content with new upgraded features for live streaming and even Elon Musk himself streaming games himself, we could see not only users return for the next bull market but streaming content as well. This narrative could fit in nicely with the next market cycle along with games fully launching by then.
